A coaster, quietly supporting a cup as it is lifted and set down, becomes the perfect place to carry an idea without demanding attention.

Waste Reborn into Meaningful Form

Materials once destined for disposal are invited back into the cycle and given new form. Through Circular Design, these materials become coasters—not merely functional objects, but reminders that waste can be reborn and value can be regenerated through thoughtful design.

Two Languages, One Shared Philosophy

The Circular Design Coasters are expressed through two visual languages. One speaks the language of industry, emphasizing precision, continuity, and reliability. The other speaks the language of nature, symbolizing rebirth, resilience, and quiet beauty. Though different in appearance, both designs share the same core belief in sustainable cycles.

Industrial Language｜Pattern 1515 — Turning the Wheel of Sustainability

Pattern 1515 draws inspiration from engineering precision. Fifteen blades converge at the center to form a stable resting point, while fifteen outer lines suggest continuous motion. Even at rest, the design conveys that sustainability should always be in progress.

The number 15＋15＝30 honors UJEN’s 30 years of dedication, while symbolizing the opening of a new cycle. In numerology, 1515 represents completion, renewal, and restart—perfectly echoing our belief that materials complete one life before beginning another.

Natural Language｜Lily Edition — Blooming the Beauty of Sustainability

Inspired by nature, the Lily Edition reflects purity, rebirth, and resilience. Its flowing curves provide stable support, while petal-like patterns extend outward, symbolizing sustainability in bloom. Soft yet strong, the design mirrors our belief that sustainable products can be both beautiful and durable.

Engraving Sustainability into the Product

Instead of printed cards or disposable packaging, our philosophy is engraved directly onto the product. This decision reduces waste and allows the object itself to communicate its purpose—turning sustainability from explanation into action.

Each coaster saves 19 g of waste, made from upcycled Nylon-GF. Small in number, but meaningful in intent, this choice reflects our commitment to producing less waste rather than more words.
