We designed two coasters.
One speaks the language of industry — telling a story of endless cycles and steady reliability;
The other speaks the language of nature — symbolizing rebirth and resilience.
They may look different, but they share the same core.

Industrial Language｜Pattern 1515 —— Turning the Wheel of Sustainability

Pattern 1515 was inspired by the precision of engineering.
At its center, fifteen blades converge like an impeller, providing a stable landing for your cup.
Around it, fifteen outer lines create a sense of continuous motion.
Even when standing still, it reminds us: sustainability should always be in motion.

15＋15＝30 is more than just a number.
It honors UJEN’s 30 years of dedication, while symbolizing the opening of a new cycle.

In modern culture, 1515 is also known as an “angel number,” rooted in numerology and new-age symbolism.
In this context, 1 stands for new beginnings and direction, 5 for change and action. 15 signals closure and renewal, and when repeated as 1515, it represents a rhythm of “completion—cycle—restart.”

This aligns perfectly with our design philosophy:
Materials complete their past life, but are reborn;
Products serve their purpose, yet can continue;
A brand builds for decades, yet still looks forward to the next cycle.

Pattern 1515 is more than a pattern — it is an attitude.
When the cup rests, it provides stability; when it’s lifted, it carries on a sense of continuation.
It turns sustainability into a visible rhythm and a reliable foundation.
That is why we call it: Turning the Wheel of Sustainability.

Natural Language｜Lily Edition —— Blooming the Beauty of Sustainability

The second design draws from nature.
We chose the lily because its flower language embodies what we want to express.

Purity: symbolizing clarity and cleanliness, just like a planet with less pollution.
Rebirth: symbolizing new beginnings, echoing the rebirth of recycled materials.
Resilience: symbolizing strength through hardship, just as we want our products to be beautiful and durable.

In design, the lily’s curves became a stable resting point.
Its outer patterns extend like petals blooming — a quiet metaphor for sustainability in motion.
Soft yet strong, graceful yet purposeful, it reflects the essence of sustainability.
That is why we named it: Blooming the Beauty of Sustainability.

Engraving the Commitment on the Back

We didn’t print our philosophy on paper cards. We engraved it directly on the product itself.
Because we believe an explanation should not require disposable printing, nor unnecessary packaging.

This choice is not just design — it is action.
By removing printed cards and single-use packaging, we let the product itself speak the message.
True sustainability is not about producing more words, but about producing less waste.
