UJEN’s Three Principles of Circular Design:

• Material Circulation: By introducing recycled content and waste-regeneration technology into production, we bring resources once destined for disposal back into the cycle of use — avoiding waste and reducing environmental burden. This is not only about reducing waste, but about giving materials a new life.
• Design for Durability: We insist that products must be resilient and long-lasting, built to accompany people over time rather than be consumed in an instant. From structural design to material choices, and even modularity and repairability, durability remains at the core — ensuring the full value of resources is maximized.
• Design Transparency: Every design element must have a clear purpose, making its function and intent easy to understand, and enabling the product to be easily recycled and reprocessed after use. We value transparency, because only then can design move beyond concepts and transform into action.

These three principles are aligned with international circular economy frameworks, echoing the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s call to “eliminate waste, keep materials in use, and regenerate nature.” For UJEN, Circular Design is not a feature of a single product, but a systemic approach. We apply it across products, gifts, and packaging — from coasters to tape, from components to cushioning — with each detail carrying the same conviction.
